It was 17 years ago when I met Jen. I started working in the office where she worked. We learned we had the same birthday! (Well, years apart, but still....) We regularly backed our chairs into each other throughout the day and laughed about so many things. Those were pretty good days, no doubt.  I'm so happy she's found someone to spoil her rotten and treat her like the superstar that she is! :)   Congratulations!!

What better way to celebrate a birthday than to be featured on the blog, right? :)  We love Kailee, her heart, her intelligence, and her smile.... great things are in store for her!!!

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to capture some sweet snaps of the family, including the one who is SOON to arrive! We were blessed to share the day with our family and extended family's family, as well. :)  

Extended family group sessions are always fun! They lend themselves to more combinations, lots of variety, and with more people, it's just more enjoyable!  But this family.......They're just plain stunning. All of them. They're just crazy funny, if dry, witty, and sometimes sarcastic is your thing. :)  They're SO kind, and all around just pretty great people.  Can I come up with any more super things to say??  I'll let their images speak for them. :)

So this is one family, in three units.... and I know each of them from a slightly different origin, yet together they are just a fun bunch!  The boys were loving walking around "the farm" and exploring a little.  The morning light was pretty and the weather was perfect! What's not to love?!?  Thanks for making the trek over... even if the wait to leave did end up a bit longer than planned. :) tee hee.  :) 

The joy and gratitude for life is SO apparent with Mark and Sheri! Life has presented its share of challenges in the last several months--to put it mildly--and this family has shown a most exemplary perspective in the midst of it all.  Their youngest two beautiful girls, and their entire precious family, are well loved and well taught about what's truly important. We know great things are in store for you all!! :) 

Caleb was kind enough to spend the first part of his birthday with us playing a little at the park on a beautiful fall day!!  He's such a sweet little guy.   Excited to see him keep growing!  Look at those eyes..... precious!

Senior portraits can be fun, even when they're done just because it's important to your mom. :)  Tyler was a good sport... and clearly loves his mom a lot!

Years and years of history and watching our lives intertwine in different ways through those years.... It was so great to get to visit with Andrea and her family for a while as we traveled to Illinois to do their session. Time flies, her kiddos have GROWN, but we can pick up like no time has passed. :)
