It was so fun to get to hang out with these two for a little bit this weekend. She is spunky and sassy and full of sweet silliness, and he is cool and handsome. Their parents are VERY blessed!!
Leave some love for these sweet kiddos!!

They are definitely "in on the ground floor" members of the Larae Photography family. This is the 3rd year I've been privileged to shoot their family session for Christmas cards. Meredith did the styling for our Fall and Christmas minis this year, and she is always helpful with ideas I have! Just love when I get to hang out with this bunch. :)
Leave them some love, help them score some free prints.... 10 comments here on the blog gets them started! My heart will always beat fiercely for families who love and care for children with special needs, disabilities either physical or intellectual or both. We all share commonalities, lots of acronyms in our daily lives, from IEPs to AAI to NG to OT and PT and dozens more. But all our stories are different, and precious, as far as I'm concerned. And ALL the kids are beautiful. Valuable. Worth every ounce of effort, education, and excitement over each milestone. They contribute to this world, no matter their perceived limitations. And THAT is what I aim to capture in photographing them with their families. We don't try to hide the disability, we try to celebrate the children exactly as the lovely humans they are.
Thank you SO much, to the families who entrust me with the blessing of sharing these moments with you and the responsibility of turning those into photographs that will keep those memories sharp for many years. It would be amazing if you would share this, with organizations who help those with special needs, with families who would be blessed by this special experience of photographs tailored specifically to their unique situation, with friends who appreciate seeing these super adorable faces! |
