Miss Grace is 2! And she has some pretty sweet fashion sense. :) She may have had some help from her lovely mom, too! This session turned out SO perfectly for Grace's sweet, but feisty spirit! That hair and those eyes.... too much cuteness! These are definitely some of my very favorite images this year!!
One of the main missions of Larae Photography is to provide excellent portrait experiences and photographs to families who have loved ones with special needs, children or adults, who might need additional consideration when capturing unique moments and relational images with their family. Sometimes families, like my own, are not quick to have professional portraits done when the likelihood of a "traditional" look-at-the-camera-and-smile pose is very slim. So it's dear to my heart when I have the opportunity to photograph a family who has a child or adult with unique needs. Traditional is not necessary. Relationship is key. Showing love is the goal.
I have rarely seen love like I see it in this family. From the parents to the son, who was formerly a very kind classmate of my daughter's, to the adorable boy who tried to hide his smile from me.... this family loves well. And they are loved by so many. I'm blessed to know them! Leave some love for the D family! Complimentary 8x10 is theirs when they get 10 comments or more! Outdoor sunset sessions in a park, what's not to like?!? Well, when it's mid-90s with no breeze, there can be a bit LESS to like for those of us "enjoying" the weather! But we braved a very hot evening and had some fun in the midst. The kids were pretty patient with the process, and we ended up with great shots!
Leave some love for them, and help them score a complimentary 8x10 by commenting below!! Thanks K family for coming out and sweating with us! :) It's always a pleasure to meet a very sweet young adult, with exemplary manners and humility, all wrapped up in a beautiful package! Victoria is a lovely girl, soon headed back to college, and she needed some new photos for her current stage in her fun collegiate experience. We balanced our session with breaks to care for the little cutie (my adorable nephew!) that she cares for each day as one very attentive and excellent nanny. Glad that he's got the very best! Leave some love and good wishes for Victoria for the coming year! We captured a couple shots with Victoria's sister and nephew. Look at that adorable little grin on him! And, of course, we had to make sure this little guy has a great photo to remember his Tori! He is a BIG fan!
In 3 months, this little guy has grown BIG! He is such a sweet kiddo, and quite the charmer! Can't wait to see him keep growing!!
Leave some love for Chase!! It's always fun to play with new gear, or new locations, or new techniques. It's more fun to do some of that kind of thing with families who are easy going and willing to "play" with me. My favorite highlight was Mr. Energy wanting photos of his cool hair at the end of the session. He cracks me up! :) Thanks, Grau family!!
This little beauty is SO fun to photograph! She just turned ONE!! What's not to love about those big eyes and perfectly precious skin?!? Her sweet family was so nice and let me play a little longer than planned because she made me want to keep trying things!
Leave Willow and her family some love.... which photo is your favorite?? This tiny, but spunky, little bug came for a visit. It's very hard to believe it's been 18 months since she arrived to forever steal the hearts of her proud parents. She remains "the cutest baby ever!" in the assessment of one very adoring cousin! :)
